Legislatures [Parliaments] of the World
In any democratic form of government the supreme legislative body is called Legislature. It is also the executive governing body of the country. Parliament, Congress, National Assembly, etc are some of the common names used to represent this legislative body.
The Legislature can be Unicameral or Bicameral. Bicameral legislature has two houses – the Lower House and the Upper House whereas in Unicameral legislature there is only one chamber or house.
